Giving

Eye/Comm is committed to giving back to our community. We feel it is our duty to support the environment we all live in as well as local Charites. Here are a few of the things we do each year:

Environment: There are many wonderful causes that we have found to help support our environment as well as sustain it. We have partnered with the Nature Conservancy, American Forests and a few others over the years to facilitate helping our planet. Some of the things we have helped to support are:
  • Planting Trees – Over the years we have planted thousands of trees. Trees are a vital resource to our planet so we have helped to fund planting programs across the United States.
  • Ocean Clean up/recovery – Over the years we have helped to sustain the ocean by supporting ocean clean up as well as supporting coral restoration and recovery. Our planet needs healthy oceans.
  • Natural Habitat Restoration – Over the years we have helped to support habitat restoration in fire burned areas here locally in Southern California as well as nationwide. Forests, the planet and animals that inhabit them are very important to our environment.

Seniors: Seniors are vital to our communities. They bring people together and pass on stories full of wisdom and fun. We feel that they are often overlooked and are in need of our help. We partner with Meals On Wheels San Diego to help feed hungry seniors. As a society we owe thanks, gratitude and compassion to our seniors. No one ever deserves to go hungry and forgotten. MOW not only brings food to seniors but in many cases their volunteers are the only people the seniors see each day.

People: We are committed to helping people make positive changes in their lives. With our partnership with Second Chance people in need of training for jobs, life skills and rehabilitation get help. We have even hired one of their graduates. She is a wonderful long time employee. Sometimes all it takes is a place that believes in you to help turn your life around. We feel that everyone deserves a second chance.

We are very passionate about the work we do, but we are just as passionate about the caring we give. Compassion and empathy are important traits for our society as a whole as well as our employee team here. If you have questions about what we do, call us at 619-448-6111 or email info@eyecomm.org. We would love to hear from you!
